SellCut Terms of Use

Effective 2 August 2026

1. AGREEMENT

These terms govern your use of SellCut. By installing or using the app you accept them. SellCut is licensed to you, not sold.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and is available at:

apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula

2. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

SellCut Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed weekly or yearly, and as a one-time Lifetime purchase that does not renew.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.

Manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.

Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy and may differ between countries.

3. REFUNDS

All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are not able to issue refunds directly.

4. WHAT THE APP DOES AND DOES NOT PROMISE

SellCut uses on-device machine learning to separate subjects from backgrounds and to recognise text. Results vary with the subject, the lighting, and the contrast in your photograph. Automatic background removal is not guaranteed to be perfect on every image, which is why manual touch-up tools are included.

Recognised text is produced by automated recognition and may contain errors. Check it before relying on it for anything that matters.

Marketplace image size presets reflect published guidance at the time of release. Marketplaces change their requirements without notice, and it remains your responsibility to confirm a listing meets current rules.

5. AI-WRITTEN LISTINGS

SellCut can draft marketplace listing text, and can research what similar items sell for and what postage costs.

Drafts are generated automatically and are a starting point, not advice. They can be wrong, out of date, or unsuitable for your item. Read and edit everything before you publish it. SellCut never publishes a listing for you — you paste it into the marketplace yourself.

Price and postage figures are estimates drawn from public sources at the moment you ask. They are not a valuation, and nothing guarantees your item will sell at any price.

If you choose Claude rather than the on-device writer, you supply your own Anthropic API key. Anthropic charges that key directly for what you use. SellCut takes no share and cannot see, cap, or refund that spending; your agreement for it is with Anthropic. Anthropic requires its API users to be at least 18 years old, so do not add a key unless you are.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any listing you publish, including anything a draft suggested.

6. PROPERTY LISTINGS

SellCut can draft property listings. Real estate advertising is legally regulated, and the responsibility for what you publish is yours.

In the United States, the Fair Housing Act prohibits advertising that states or implies a preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race, colour, religion, sex, familial status, national origin, or disability. Many states and cities prohibit more. SellCut instructs the writer to describe the property rather than the people who might live in it, and to avoid language that is commonly non-compliant — but automated drafting is not legal advice and is not a compliance guarantee.

Read every property draft before you publish it. If you are a licensed agent, your own regulatory and brokerage obligations continue to apply.

Property details drawn from a photograph — square footage, year built, lot size, room counts, systems — are estimates unless you confirm them. SellCut marks what it cannot determine rather than guessing, and you are responsible for verifying every figure before it is advertised.

SellCut does not list, publish, or transmit anything to any property platform or multiple listing service.

7. MARKETPLACES

SellCut names marketplaces so you can pick the right image size and the right writing style, and it can open their apps for you. It is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, Shopify, Amazon, Meta, or any other marketplace. All trademarks belong to their owners.

SellCut does not publish, edit, or manage listings on your behalf and has no access to your marketplace accounts. Your use of any marketplace is governed by that marketplace's own terms, which you remain responsible for following.

8. YOUR CONTENT

Your photos and documents are yours. We claim no rights over them and never receive them. You are responsible for having the right to use and edit the images you process.

9. ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not use SellCut to create material that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is intended to deceive — including altering identification documents or misrepresenting goods offered for sale.

10. NO WARRANTY

SellCut is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of SellCut is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or lost profits.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted.

12. APPLE

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for SellCut. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

13. CHANGES

Updated terms ship inside new releases of the app. Continuing to use SellCut after an update means you accept the updated terms.
